Pink Stuff

Pink flamingos have become very popular lawn decorations in the USA since Don Featherstone designed and created plastic replicas of the gregarious wading bird. As typical a yard decor as the garden gnome, it became so famous that it became a pop culture icon. Sometimes the plastic birds are used for pranks. Known as lawn greetings, the pranksters place a flock of flamingos at night in the yard of an unsuspecting victim. At other times, pink plastic flamingos are used for fundraising.

These adorable creatures, despite being fake, never fail in drawing attention or starting a conversation. Plastic flamingos can now be bought online, in pairs: one with its head up and the other with its head down, as if feeding. Yard flamingos add color to your lawn.
