It is very overwhelming that people of America has the first ever African-American President. During his inauguration, everyone was very emotional. It was indeed a very special day for all American and the world, because Obama’s Inauguration was dated on the 200^th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln who has given much importance with the democracy living in the United States of America during his time. Now, the people are really expecting so much from this newly elected President because of the fact that he came from a very common family, this means that he can open the key for opportunities to a lot of people. Now, racial discrimination will start to be a myth, because who would have ever thought that in the history of America, its 44^th President will be an African American? This means that chances are now open to everyone regardless of what skin color one has.

The Obama-McCain presidential race is the most memorable and groundbreaking elections ever held in the history of the United States. There had been several ‘black’ candidates before but not as popular as our guy Obama. We all have our own choices and some of us would go for the more experienced guy which is McCain and some prefer the guy naturally-born with charisma and fortunately the voice of America placed the more charismatic guy in the position.

It was a very good fight and Mr. McCain is quite admirable at how he manly accepted defeat. (If only all politicians would be as sports as him, this would be a more peaceful world).
